Carl Talbott is a principal and managing director for Talbott Valuation Advisory Services (TVAS). He has years of experience valuing and advising across all real estate asset classes for a variety of purposes including litigation, expert witness, mortgage financing, tax appeals and estate planning. Carl also has in-depth experience in performing going concern valuations involving real property and associated intangibles across multiple industries.
 
He has worked with a variety of clients including developers, financial institutions, government agencies, accountants, attorneys, estate planning professionals, and individual investors throughout the United States. 

 

Prior to founding TVAS, Carl was a partner and managing director at Dargan/Whitington & Maddox in Atlanta, where he led the practice in the review and quality control process.

Carl received his M.A. in Finance from the Manderson Graduate School of Business at the University of Alabama and his B.B.A. in Finance from Mississippi State University.

He is a certified general real estate appraiser licensed in multiple states and a Candidate for Designation of the Appraisal Institute.
